We believe our state will be stronger through fair and equitable access to the courts, the economy, and public schools. To accomplish this, we build bridges between vulnerable communities and our extensive network of pro bono professionals to develop meaningful and sustainable solutions that help equity take root.

HEIRS' PROPERTY ADVOCACY

The Uniform Partition of Heirs' Property Act, or the UPHPA, provides a process for heirs to reach clear title. There is an estimated 175,000 properties in Louisiana held as Heirs' Property. Passing the LA-UPHPA could help thousands of families avoid land loss.
