2024 Good Apple Luncheon on October 17 at Arnaud’s Restaurant

Wednesday, October 16, 2024 [NEW ORLEANS, LA] –Louisiana Appleseed will host its first Good Apple Luncheon. Walter Leger, III will serve as the Master of Ceremonies in honoring the 2009 Louisiana Appleseed founding board members with a Good Apple Legacy Award and paying tribute to the pro bono contributions of Toya Mathis, Vice President & Trust Relationship Manager from Hancock Whitney. Colleen Jarrott, Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, and Kathlyn Perez, Perez Law LLC co-chair the luncheon.

 

“We have reimagined the event platform to unite annually with like-minded individuals and organizations who share our passion for creating positive change in our state,” said Kathlyn Perez, Development Chair of the Appleseed Board of Directors. “We have aligned our organization alongside our sponsors with a noble cause and gained visibility among a diverse audience of influencers, community leaders, and advocates.”

 

The luncheon will take place on Thursday, October 17th, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Arnaud’s, located at 813 Bienville Street, New Orleans, LA, 70112. The event will feature three new advocacy videos featuring Malcolm Jenkins (Saints, retired) and Kelvin Beachum (Arizona Cardinals). Additionally, Appleseed will release the first-ever map of heirs’ property in Louisiana.
