Louisiana Appleseed, volunteers, and many community organizations are dedicated to preventing domestic abuse. Louisiana Appleseed and volunteers have been examining how extending community property settlements can be used as a form of abuse, creating bench cards regarding civil protective orders, and much more in this area.
