LOUISIANA APPLESEED'S EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR SELECTED FOR NORLI CLASS OF 2020

August 13, 2019, New Orleans – Louisiana Appleseed's Executive Director, Adrienne Wheeler, has been selected for the New Orleans Regional Leadership Institute's (NORLI) Class of 2020. The cornerstone program is a 9-month intensive program that focuses on issues that impact the economy and quality of life for the 10-parish region.


Since 1998, NORLI has brought together a wide range of leaders for collaboration, networking, and solution-building. Previous graduate have included members of the business, legal, and nonprofit communities.


"This is a tremendous opportunity and I am grateful to have the opportunity to represent Louisiana Appleseed," said Wheeler.


The Mission of NORLI is to "promote regionalism and to provide a diverse cross section of current and emerging leaders from the business, non-profit, and governmental sectors from throughout the Region with a more thorough understanding of issues and an enhanced ability to collaborate for the greater good of the community." Louisiana Appleseed is a statewide nonprofit based in New Orleans, Louisiana that focuses on policy-level solutions by recruiting attorneys to provide free services through a research-oriented approach to policy change.
